The Challenge
- - Instrumentl had been running two three-week tests on Google Ads and found some preliminary potential with search based ads, however their conversions were below the target threshold. They were looking for a Google Ads specialist who could help them scale out these campaigns further.
- - The biggest challenge was the different conversion points a prospect would go before becoming a client. For instance, a client would need to sign up for a 14 day trial, then set up calls, etc. before being classified as a qualified lead This meant that we lost some leads on the way to the final stage.
my Approach
- - Possibly one of the most challenging conversion structures I have ever worked with. I put in place an advanced Google Ads strategy and Data Studio reporting to track and measure all our successful campaigns - 416% increase in lead conversion.
- - I started running a Keyword research analysis as well as auditing their account. This allowed me to discover low competition, high volume keywords to bid on. I worked closely with the client to select our first batch of keywords. I then researched their audience and created a copy that would resonate with them. As data came in, we adjusted our landing page in terms of SEO, which led to a lower CPC. I set up an advanced Data Studio report to analyse every single conversion point along the way. This allowed me to understand what were the strategies that worked the best. Ever since, we have substantially increased our qualified leads conversion rate month over month.
